Identifying and Breaking Generational Curses:
Did you know that the unseen forces of Satan if directly or indirectly given the right, can hinder and restrict your spiritual success…keeping you off balance and preventing you from walking in the fullness of God’s blessings?
Ignorance is costly
Proverbs 26:2 “…the curse causeless shall not come.”
How is it that a person can be born again…forgiven of all their sins…yet live a life that is plagued by seemingly uncontrollable situations, events, and vulnerabilities that can only be described as a curse. What did Jesus do about this?
SALVATION TOOK CARE OF CURSES
A. “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”
(2 Corinthians 5:21)
B. “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:”
(Galatians 3:13)
What is Salvation?
Salvation is deliverance (freedom) from the authority and control of sin. According to the Word of God, you will be saved from enemies (Luke1:71), sin (Romans 10:1,9-10), bondage (Acts 7:25) sickness, and disease (Acts 4:12).
Definition: Salvation comes from the Greek word “Soteria” and the Hebrew word “Yshuwah”. It means deliverance, protection, preservation, prosperity, safety, soundness, healing, and the ministry of angels. Salvation, in the New Testament, refers to eternal and temporary deliverance from danger. Deliverance is a release from bondage, imprisonment and captivity.
Salvation is a gift available to all who repent (change their attitude and direction toward sin) and believe in Jesus (Roman 10:9-10) which prepares you to confess Him as your Savior and Lord.
Salvation
By limiting the definition of salvation only to being saved or born again, we have only experienced the born again process. However, when you understand the complete definition, you will see that Jesus came to release us from every yoke and bondage.
Source Scripture: Hebrews 2:3 “How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him…”
Scriptural Substitution:
“How shall we escape, if we neglect so great deliverance, protection, preservation, prosperity, safety, soundness, healing, and the ministry of angels; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him…”
