People often say ‘Perception IS reality’…

Your perception has to do with how you see things in life and how you see yourself. To ‘go on’ with God, you may have to change your perception. You cannot change your life, unless you can change your perceptions of life.

“Perceive” Defined –

1. Bible Definition: Perceive – To know for a certainty, To understand or become aware, To See.

2. Websters Definition: Perceive – To become aware through the natural senses.

We perceive on two levels: Mind & Heart

Mark 4: 24, 25

” And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given. For he that hath (heart understanding), to him shall be given: and he that hath not (heart understanding), from him shall be taken even that which he hath (mentally).”

Right Perception brings Promotion

1. You cannot be more than God has revealed to you.

2. You cannot be more than you perceive yourself to be.

3. Your level of perception determines your level of promotion.

4. You must walk by faith in what you have perceived.

2 Samuel 5: 3; 12 Perception follows anointing

3 So all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron; and king David made a league with them in Hebron before the LORD: and they anointed David king over Israel.

12 And David perceived that the LORD had established him king over Israel, and that he had exalted his kingdom for his people Israel’s sake.

Satan attacks you when he finds out that you have been anointed, not when you find out.

8 And when the Philistines (a type of satanic forces) heard that David was anointed king over all Israel, all the Philistines went up to seek David. And David heard of it, and went out against them.

Conclusion: Without proper perception, you will fear and flee your enemies.

If you can see it you can have it

Joshua 5:13-15; 6:2

“And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries? And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant? And the captain of the LORD’S host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.

6: 2 And the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour.

To go to another level, you have to have revelation and perception on that level, then you can pray, sow, work and expect on that level. Perception has to do with the thoughts and images that play in your heart not in your mind. Your mind can be distracted, but what your perceives to be reality, will become so.

Proverbs 23:7

“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.”

Your mouth can be speaking one thing, but your heart reveals your true perception.

To go to another level, or receive promotion, you must operate in the faith that is in your heart, not what is in your head. Your mind may give your false information. Your mind can be deceived by what ‘seems’ to be true, but is not. Your heart,submitted to the Word and Spirit of God cannot be deceived. It simply cannot!

Philippians 2:13

For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

God’s good pleasure is FAITH, the perception (evidence) of things not revealed to the natural senses.

Hebrews 11:1 (Amplified version)

God is working his perception into your life as you hear His Word. Thats how faith comes. By hearing the Word of God preached, taught and meditated upon. (Romans 10:17)

Don’t you think it is time for you top go to another level-to begin to live the life the devil said you would never have? It can begin to happen if you can receive God’s perception of your life!
